Ingredients:
- 2 cups (180g) old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup (250g) creamy natural peanut butter
- 0.5 cup (120ml) pure maple syrup
- 0.5 cup (90g) semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and the peanut butter. Stir until the mixture resembles coarse, sandy crumbles.
- Pour the maple syrup over the mixture and fold using a pressing motion until the oats begin to hydrate. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes. This allows the oats to soften and the fats to firm up for easier rolling.
- Portion the mixture using a tablespoon and roll between your palms into 1-inch spheres. Store in an airtight container.
