Ingredients:
- 2 tsp Dried Butterfly Pea Flowers
- 0.5 cup filtered water
- 1.5 tbsp vanilla syrup
- 0.75 cup cold whole milk
- 0.5 tsp vanilla syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions:
- Steep the dried butterfly pea flowers in 212°F water for 5 minutes to create a concentrated blue tea base.
- Stir 1.5 tablespoons of vanilla syrup into the hot tea concentrate to increase its density, then allow it to cool to room temperature.
- In a separate container, combine cold milk and the remaining 0.5 teaspoon of vanilla syrup. Use a handheld milk frother for 15 seconds to create a dense micro-foam.
- Fill a tall glass to the brim with large ice cubes and pour the sweetened blue tea over the ice.
- Gently layer the frothed vanilla milk over the tea, using the back of a spoon to ensure a distinct separation of layers.
