Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken thoroughly dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy exterior.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the chicken with avocado oil and all the dry rub ingredients until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  5. Cook for 12–15 minutes (for boneless cuts), flipping the chicken halfway through for even browning.
  6. Verify the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
