Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
Instructions:
- In the ceramic insert of your crockpot, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Ensure there are no large clumps of cocoa to prevent chocolate pockets.
- Pour in the whole milk and heavy cream. Stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Cover and set to Low for 2 hours (or High for 1 hour) until the mixture is steaming.
- Turn the crockpot to the Warm setting. Stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract, whisking gently until the chips have completely melted and the liquid is glossy.
