Ingredients:
- 25 oz frozen cheese ravioli
- 28 oz marinara sauce
- 0.5 cup beef or vegetable broth
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 0.5 cup ricotta cheese
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the marinara sauce and the broth until fully combined to ensure proper pasta hydration.
- Spread 1 cup of the sauce mixture across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer over the sauce. Scatter half of the sliced garlic over the pasta.
- Top with half of the remaining sauce, 1 cup of mozzarella, and dollops of the ricotta cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, garlic, and sauce. Finish with the remaining mozzarella and the parmesan cheese.
- Cover the dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and develops a deep golden-brown crust.
