Ingredients:

  • 25 oz frozen cheese ravioli
  • 28 oz marinara sauce
  • 0.5 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup ricotta cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the marinara sauce and the broth until fully combined to ensure proper pasta hydration.
  2. Spread 1 cup of the sauce mixture across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer over the sauce. Scatter half of the sliced garlic over the pasta.
  4. Top with half of the remaining sauce, 1 cup of mozzarella, and dollops of the ricotta cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, garlic, and sauce. Finish with the remaining mozzarella and the parmesan cheese.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and develops a deep golden-brown crust.
