Ingredients:
- 3 cups (510g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 2 tbsp (30g) red and green holiday sprinkles
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to create a sling for easy removal.
- Combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter in a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly with a silicone spatula until the mixture is glossy, smooth, and flows like thick ribbons.
- Remove the pan from the heat immediately. Stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp fine sea salt.
- Pour the warm fudge into your prepared pan. Smooth the top with your spatula. Wait 2 minutes before adding the 2 tbsp sprinkles.
- Let the pan sit on the counter for 30 minutes, then move it to the fridge for at least 2 hours. Wait until the center feels firm to the touch before lifting the parchment sling out to slice.
