Ingredients:

  • 18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to act as a sling. Lightly grease the paper.
  2. In a medium microwave-safe glass bowl or heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter.
  3. Melt the mixture using the microwave (1 minute, then 15-second intervals) or stovetop (low heat), stirring constantly until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly fold in the vanilla extract, sea salt, and chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Add decorative sprinkles if desired.
  6. Allow the fudge to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours until completely firm.
  7. Lift the fudge out using the parchment sling and slice into 1-inch squares using a sharp knife.
