Ingredients:
- 18 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to act as a sling. Lightly grease the paper.
- In a medium microwave-safe glass bowl or heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter.
- Melt the mixture using the microwave (1 minute, then 15-second intervals) or stovetop (low heat), stirring constantly until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly fold in the vanilla extract, sea salt, and chopped walnuts.
- Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Add decorative sprinkles if desired.
- Allow the fudge to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours until completely firm.
- Lift the fudge out using the parchment sling and slice into 1-inch squares using a sharp knife.
