Ingredients:

  • 16.3 oz Pillsbury refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (90/10)
  • 1.5 cups Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 cups Shredded Low-Moisture Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 oz Mini Pepperoni slices

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
  2. Drain the excess fat from the beef thoroughly. Stir in 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 350ml of pizza sauce and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Using kitchen shears or a knife, cut each biscuit into four equal quarters.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the dough pieces with 30ml of olive oil and 5g of dried oregano until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the oiled biscuits in the bottom of your 23x33 cm baking dish. Pour the meat and sauce mixture evenly over the biscuits, poking a few pieces so they bubble up through the sauce.
  6. Top with the remaining sauce, followed by 225g of Mozzarella cheese, 50g of Parmesan cheese, and 113g of mini pepperoni slices.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the dough is fully cooked and golden brown.
