Ingredients:
- 16.3 oz Pillsbury refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (90/10)
- 1.5 cups Pizza Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 cups Shredded Low-Moisture Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 4 oz Mini Pepperoni slices
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
- Drain the excess fat from the beef thoroughly. Stir in 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 350ml of pizza sauce and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Using kitchen shears or a knife, cut each biscuit into four equal quarters.
- In a large bowl, toss the dough pieces with 30ml of olive oil and 5g of dried oregano until evenly coated.
- Arrange the oiled biscuits in the bottom of your 23x33 cm baking dish. Pour the meat and sauce mixture evenly over the biscuits, poking a few pieces so they bubble up through the sauce.
- Top with the remaining sauce, followed by 225g of Mozzarella cheese, 50g of Parmesan cheese, and 113g of mini pepperoni slices.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the dough is fully cooked and golden brown.
