Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced finely
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary leaves
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Mince the garlic until it is nearly a paste and combine it in a serving bowl with the dried oregano, rosemary, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir these together with a small spoon so the salt starts to draw a bit of moisture out of the garlic.
- Pour the extra virgin olive oil over the herb mixture and stir gently to ensure all herbs are submerged. Let the mixture sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the herbs to infuse.
- Sprinkle the grated parmesan over the top and drizzle the balsamic vinegar directly into the center of the oil, allowing it to bloom naturally to create a swirl effect.
