Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Kentucky Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp monk fruit sweetener
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz sparkling mineral water
  • 1 fresh mint sprig
  • 1 lime wheel

Instructions:

  1. Place the fresh mint leaves and monk fruit sweetener into the bottom of a chilled glass. Use a muddler to gently press the leaves 3-4 times to release aromatic oils without tearing the leaves.
  2. Pour in the bourbon and the fresh lime juice. Stir briefly to integrate the sweetener with the alcohol.
  3. Fill the glass to the brim with crushed ice. Top the drink with sparkling mineral water and use a bar spoon to lift the mint leaves from the bottom for distribution.
  4. Slap a sprig of mint against your wrist to activate the oils and tuck it into the ice alongside a lime wheel.
