- 1-2 Thinly Sliced Fresh Peach Slices (Garnish, if in season)
Instructions:
- Chill the Glass: Place the highball or Collins glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes before serving, or fill it with ice and a splash of water (discard water before building the drink).
- Prepare Juice: Freshly squeeze the required amount of orange juice and strain it to remove any large pulp, ensuring a smooth mouthfeel.
- Add the Liqueur: Measure the 2 fl oz (60 ml) of Peach Schnapps and pour it directly into the chilled highball glass.
- Add Ice: Fill the glass nearly to the top with fresh, dense ice cubes.
- Add Bitters (If Using): Dash 1 drop of Angostura Bitters over the ice. This simple step adds structure and balances the sweetness.
- Top with Juice: Slowly pour the 4 fl oz (120 ml) of freshly squeezed orange juice over the ice and schnapps.
