Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz London Dry Gin
- 0.75 oz 100% Pure Pomegranate Juice (unsweetened)
- 0.5 oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 0.5 oz Simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 1 cup Large ice cubes for shaking
- 3 oz Chilled Brut Champagne
- 5-6 Fresh pomegranate arils
- 1 Thin strip of lemon zest
Instructions:
- Place your glassware in the freezer for 15 minutes to chill. Use a jigger to precisely measure the gin, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Pour in the measured gin, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frost-cold.
- Double strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into the chilled flute or coupe glass to remove ice shards and citrus pulp.
- Slowly top the glass with the chilled Brut Champagne. Twist the lemon zest over the drink to express the oils, then drop the zest and the pomegranate arils into the glass as a garnish.
