Ingredients:
- 1 cup white distilled vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
Instructions:
- Add the white vinegar, water, kosher salt, and sugar to a small saucepan. Stir in the black peppercorns and mustard seeds.
- Place the pan over medium-high heat and stir constantly with a whisk until the liquid reaches a simmer and the salt and sugar grains have completely dissolved.
- Remove the pan from the heat immediately once it simmers to prevent excessive evaporation. Allow the liquid to cool for 2-3 minutes before pouring over vegetables.
